Armada House by renowned interior designer Suzie McAdam is a defining project within the firm's hospitality portfolio. The design allows the house's c 1807 origins as a Gentleman's Residence to speak clearly, celebrating its' history while introducing a striking contemporary layer.
Her approach brings clarity and confidence to the house - layering colour, texture, pattern, and art with intention. History is respected, not preserved behind glass. Contemporary design is bold, expressive, and assured.
Vintage pieces sit alongside bespoke furnishings.
Classical architecture meets fearless colour and form.
Every space carries depth, warmth, and presence. Here, design is not decoration, It is authorship.
As McAdam describes it, the house carries a 'storied sensibility.' There is colour here - deep blues, sea greens and warm reds - but also restraint. The inspiration draws not only from the ocean, but from the villages of the West of Ireland, where vibrantly painted houses punctuate a rugged landscape. 'It can be quite raw outside.' she says, 'so inside, I wanted vibrancy, something uplifting.'
